How do I receive my package?

What file formats are included?

Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) for spreadsheets and calculators, Microsoft Word (.docx) for templates and clauses, PDF for printable references and checklists, and a Bluebeam Revu profile (.bpx) for the take-off workflow. Everything is editable.

What does the Start-Up Pack cover that Commercial Templates doesn't?

The Start-Up Pack is broader. It includes the full Contractor's Pricing Guide, a UK estimating terms reference, a worked sample tender, and all the foundational templates a start-up contractor or sole trader needs to run their own pricing function from day one. Commercial Templates is narrower and built for contractors who already have a pricing process in place — it adds the sector-specific commercial templates and clauses for office fit-outs, multi-package schemes, and complex tenders.

Can I buy both packages?

Yes — many start-up contractors and sole traders do exactly that, picking up the Commercial Templates alongside the Start-Up Pack so they're equipped for commercial work from day one. Check out for them separately; the templates don't overlap.

Does the price include VAT?

Prices shown are ex VAT. UK business customers can submit a VAT number at checkout to apply zero-rating where applicable; consumers and non-VAT-registered customers pay the listed price.

Is the payment secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, the same payment infrastructure used by companies like Shopify, Amazon, and Slack. Card details never touch REMC's systems. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are all supported.

What's your refund policy?

Because these are digital downloads delivered immediately, we don't offer refunds once the files have been opened. If you have a question before buying, email enquire@remc.uk and we'll help you pick the right package.

Can I share the package with my team?

Yes — single-business licence. Use within your firm across your team and your jobs. The only thing not permitted is reselling, redistributing, or sharing externally with other firms.

Do I get free updates?

Yes. We refresh the packages every quarter — new clauses, calculator improvements, supplier list updates, template tweaks. Every buyer receives the updates by email, automatically, free, for life.

I'm thinking about a Monthly Service Plan instead — should I still buy a package?

If you're moving to a Monthly Service Plan, you don't need the packages — your REMC estimator uses these templates on your tenders for you. The packages are for contractors who price in-house.
